In the early eighties, Papa began thinking about his future.
1983 he decided to enrich his life with a new dimension. He decided to serve God and the
society in a way as valuable as the one till now but a way that is totally different.
He decided for Mummy, Molamma, called by friends and relatives "Moll".
Mummy was born and brought up in Edathua.
In 1980 the family moved to Changanacherry.
Mummy reached Austria in September 1980.
On 20.12.1980, three months after her arrival in Vienna her father, Joseph Xavier,
died.
We were however lucky to see our grandmother, Aleyamma Xavier, till October, 2001.
She died on 05.10.2001 at the age of 83.

Having worked at the Hospital for orthpaedie in Lainz, Vienna, for a year Mummy entered into the service of the
city of Vienna as nurse in the Home for the aged (now called Center for Geriatry) in February 1981.
She belongs ever since
to the staff of the Pavillon I.
Through the mediation of her relatives
who had been already living in Vienna
and who had already known the Panjikaran family
Molamma was confronted with Baby.
Out of this confrontation in July 1983
resulted after a month of prayer and consideration
an encounter

which culminated in the legal exchange of marital promise already on 31.08.1983 in Vienna and in the invoking of God's blessings at an idyllic Church in lower Austria on 01.10.1983.

I, Patrick, was the winner of a fight without arms in the Hospital at Lainz, Vienna! My parents had to do with me since 2.30 p.m., Wednesday, 20.03.1985. I, Basil, no less valorous, appeared on the arena after 5 years, at 6.50 p.m. on 11.05.1990 in the Rudolfsstiftung, Vienna. |

Both of us did our primary schooling at the "Neulandschule", a renowned catholic private school in Vienna. We received the First Communion during Holy Services conducted by the school authorities at the School Chapel, Patrick on 15.05.1993 and Basil on 23.05.1998. |

We are making history!
The fifth one of the 8 Panjikaran brothers of the Neelimangalam Branch
has already moved to Poozhanad
A new branch of the Panjikaran clan has taken its roots!

Our house in Poozhanad, near Neyyar Dam, Tiruvananthapuram district,
blessed by Rev. Dr. M.K. George. S.J., Principal of Loyola College of Social Sciences,
concelebrated by. Rev. Syriac Panjikaran S.J.
About 600 guests graced the occasion.
